For some reason best known to himself, my hilarious George (just 5) has taken to calling Livvie (just 2) "Phyllis". No-one has a clue why - but it's "Phyllis this and Phyllis that". Livvie is now referring to herself as Phyllis. Last night, Lucy put Livvie to bed and then ran George's bath. Once he was in, she popped down to get him a drink. She had been gone all of two minutes when this dripping wet child appeared in the kichen doorway. "Oh Mummy" he said "You'd better come NOW. Just wait until you see what Phyllis is up to". Lucy flew upstairs only to find "Phyllis" complete with sleeping bag on and night clothes in the bath, having a "washy hair". She'd climbed out of bed, gone into the bathroom and decided to join George! Kids, eh! But it made us laugh. Jeanxxxxx

That made me laugh Jean, Mums definitely need eyes in the back of their heads! Love the new name, Livvie obviously likes it too! Love, Doreen xx

But where on earth has he got Phylis from? We don't even know anyone called Phyllis? I'm going to have my nails done soon, but I'll give you a ring when we get back. If we are late (thinking of your tea time) we're in all day tomorrow, so I'll ring then if that's OK? Love Jeanxxxxx

HI Jean,
I'm out tomorrow morning, that's all. I can't think where George has got the name Phyllis from, it's not exactly a popular name is it?
Careful on those chairs at the nail bar!!!
Love, Doreen xx

That's a good old name! Lucy used to call Richard "Dee" when she was small. Don't know where she got that from either.
Hope you enjoyed having your nails done, I'm having mine done next week, before we go to the summer ball.
